Admission to an aged care facility is only by approval of the Commonwealth Department of Social Services following an assessment by the Aged Care Assessment Team (ACAT). The approval form is known as an Aged Care Client Record (ACCR). This will give an initial indication of the level of care – respite or permanent – to which you may be entitled. Residents approved for respite may be approved at a high or low level of care. This facility will accept either level of care in consideration to other admission suitability.
